I’m combining two days again today! I am on a slippery slope with this paintings a day writing a blog post thing. I know. Next thing you know I’ll be posting the last four paintings on January 30th. I was all set to write my post last night, but then I made the mistake of plopping myself on the bed with Tiny-Small to “rest my eyes” until she fell asleep. I woke up this morning. I was still in my clothes.
I even missed Downton Abbey last night. The horror! I’m hoping to catch a rerun of this weeks episode before next Sunday, but I am not very hopeful about that actually happening. Staying up late all week finally caught up with me. I paid a hefty price by missing my favorite show. Oh well, it was a sacrifice I made for art. I’d totally make it again!
In other news, I am painting glass hearts and making jewelry for Valentine’s Day. I’m really devoted to making Valentine’s Day special this year. As I was complaining about the alcohol ink making my paper cut sting this morning, Tiny-Small reminded me about how important my jewelry making is when she said, “Mom, you have to make those hearts so that guy can ask his girlfriend to get married. That’s what love is for.” Well, guy who wants to get married, I hope you know how much love is going into making these hearts for you!
I am hoping to have my heart pins and necklaces for sale in my Etsy Shop tomorrow. They ship priority so you’ll receive them in two or three days after placing your order. Don’t wait until the last-minute to order the one you want. Supplies are limited!
