We spent a day at the beach when we were in California. There is nothing as relaxing as having your feet in the sand, feeling the breeze coming off the ocean, and hearing the waves crash. If I could live anywhere I would live on the beach. Unfortunately, so would most other people so the chances of me being able to afford to live on the beach are pretty slim. Unless, of course, I cast away all of my earthly possessions and just become a beach bum. Don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
Today the drawing prompt is “At the Beach” and I had some fun with this one. I thought I would draw some bathing suit models, but bathing suits don’t fit well on stick bodies. Even Tiny-Small looked at their suits and asked, “What is that they are wearing, Mom?”
Then I drew Shelby here and I loved the way her eyebrows came out. She looks like she is determined and maybe even a little ruthless. She means business.
Then Tiny-Small added some extra details.
I was searching for other adventures in Stickman drawing when I came across this book The Stickman With A Big Bum by Jonny Staples that looks really fun for children ages 7-11. The stickman does all kinds of projects and gives your child instructions to do them too. Apparently his big bum offers some comic relief too.
If you drew a stickman at the beach add your drawing to the link tool below.
Tomorrow the prompt is: RIDING A BICYCLE
