The Irish Setter is such a pretty color! I feel like dragging one into the hair salon and asking them to dye my hair to match. What a gorgeous auburn, right? Before I started this challenge I asked friends and It’s A Dome Life readers to tell me which dogs they wanted to see painted. I have quite a list I am working from and a few pets to paint in there too. It’s been kind of nice to not have to worry about which dogs to paint or to have to search for reference photos to work from. I just want to say a quick thank you to all of the people kind enough to send me photos of their dogs or to offer up a breed suggestion. I have had a lot of fun so far learning a little more about each breed and making a list of all of the dogs I’d like to have…someday. Jim is crying in his coffee right now over the dog farm I am creating in my mind. Trust me, he wishes I’d stick to painting flowers or something that doesn’t cost so much too feed and never pees on your favorite chair.
Anyway, I am going to keep this brief because you heard from me twice yesterday. If you didn’t get a chance to see my video on Painting A Boston Terrier you might want to check it out today. It’s already been viewed 50 times on YouTube and only 40 of those views were mine, I swear! With 50 views I am practically as famous as the mayor of the town I live in, right? Or maybe as famous as the UPS delivery guy, although not quite as popular. In all seriousness, if you’d like to watch an alcohol ink painting being created basically from start to finish the video might interest. If you are only here because you love Irish Setters that is fine too. I mean, what a beautiful dog, right?
